PVR Updates Just Released

The PVR format has changed. The purpose of the re-formatting is to align the PVR to match PAT’s PVR as seen in the Data in Motion manual.

Here are some key points about the re-formatting.

DEVELOPMENT-CENTERED PARENTING

  • Before the update, this section appeared in the child section of the PVR. So if there was more than 1 child on the record, it appeared for each child.
  • After the update, this section now appears in the guardian section so will only appear once on the PVR even if there is more than 1 child on the PVR.
  • Text entered in “Key messages shared…” on the old PVR for each child on the PVR was transferred to “Key knowledge points…” on the new PVR. If the exact same message was typed for each child, then only 1 “set of notes” was transferred.

PARENT-CHILD INTERACTION

  • Same as Development-Centered Parenting
  • Before the update, this section appeared in the child section of the PVR. So if there was more than 1 child on the record, it appeared for each child.
  • After the update, this section now appears in the guardian section so will only appear once on the PVR even if there is more than 1 child on the PVR.
  • Text entered for “Parent-child activity pages” and “Strengths-based observations…” on the old PVR for each child on the PVR was transferred to those same sections in the new PVR.  If the exact same message was typed for each child, then only 1 “set of notes” was transferred.

Other changes/improvements

  • Headers, indentation, and spacing was added to give a cleaner, more organized look to the PVR
  • Screen resolution adaptability – the PVR will expand and contract depending on your screen size
  • Print version – The print version will preserve the text
